Why install a KIT on my bicycle?

Can any bicycle be used to mount the KIT?

99% of bikes can equip an electric KIT, although there are a couple of exceptions:

  • Front or rear wheel hub motors are not thru-axle compatible.
  • The center motors are not compatible with press-fit type axles.

And some considerations about the assembly:

  • For cassette motors, the maximum number of sprockets that can be mounted is 10.
  • On center motors, the first (largest) sprocket may not be usable due to excessive chain crossing. We have adapted dishes to partially correct this crossing (contact us).
  • Except for the 83 mm motors. wide, all our products are compatible with disc brake (160 mm.)

Should I mount the brake sensors? Which PAS do I choose?

  • Brake sensors are a safety feature. In Platinium, its installation is optional, but in Platinium PLUS, BPM or CTX we strongly recommend its installation.
  • We have PAS sensors for square or hollow shaft type (Hollowtech, Octalink, etc.). In the latter case (due to the large number of variants), you may need to modify the PAS sensor or use adhesives.
